Madison's 6th Birthday!

Madison had a great day today. She woke up to find that Daddy had sent her a present for her birthday. He then called and talked to her while she opened her Jess American Girl doll that she has wanted forever. Jess can wear all the outfits Abuela got at the American Girl store. She loved her dance clothes, dance bag, little dog which she named Scruffy,and nail polish that she got from Grandma and Papa. She is modeling them in the picture. Then we baked some cookies in her new Easy Bake oven that she got from the Sichers. She also loved the jewelry box with makeup in it that she got form the Murphy's. We had cake and sang Happy birthday. She seemed pretty tired and a little run down and I took her temp and it was 102. I guess that is what Tyler gave her for her birthday!! Trevor gave Madison a newspaper clipping with her in it. She had a great day. Hopefully she will be better for Libby Lou on Friday. Thank you everybody for making Madison's day special.

Dear Madison,

Happy Birthday! I am sorry I can't be at home for your 6th birthday, but I will be thinking about you all day. I hope you like the Jess doll I got for you, now Britney will have a friend to hang out with. I got your birthday party invitation in the mail and the Libby Lu party sounds like it will be a blast, I am sure all your friends will have so much fun. Whenever I get sad or lonely in Iraq I look at this picture of us and it always makes me smile! It helps me remember that I have my beautiful girl to come home to and that I am lucky to have such a wonderful daughter. I hope you have a great day and always remember that I love you.
